I need change for 1000, without using a 100 bill, and I only need 10 notes.
Can you solve this problem?
As there is no further condition given:
101$+102$+103$—-109$+55$=1000$
Its possible in EURO in some countries.
€1000 = €500 + €200 + 5 x €50 + 2 x €20 + €10
We could do this in British Pounds too, if you had a £200 which were issued from 1725 to 1928, but they stopped being legal tender in 1948.
Denmark, Bulgaria, North Korea, South Africa and Bosnia also have 200-unit notes.
