Fifty minutes ago if it was four times as many minutes past three o’clock, how many minutes is it until six o’clock?
Twenty-six minutes
26 is true only if you assume that the 4 times the minutes past 3 o’clock is same as the time until 6 o’clock. But is was not said it the question!!
The answer is 70 minutes.
Explanation: Now it’s 4:50. 50 minutes ago it was 4 o’clock which is 60 minutes past 3 o’clock. and 4*60=240 which in hours is 4 o’clock.
