Truck on Bridge

A truck is crossing a bridge 2 mile long. The bridge can only hold 10000 lbs, which is the exact weight of the truck. The truck makes it half way across the bridge and stops. A bird lands on the truck. Does the bridge collapse? Explain.

    the bridge won’t collapse cause the truck has crossed half the bridge and in doing so has consumed some amount of fuel which is subtracted from the weight of the truck hence the weight of the bird will not affect as it wouldn’t be greater than the weight of fuel consumed by the truck.
