Look at the center of the image for about 30 seconds. Then quickly shift your gaze to somewhere with a white background. You should see an afterimage of the US flag with the correct colors! This happens because your eye reverses the colors in afterimages.

Are the holes on the inside or outside?

Do the straight horizontal gray lines look curvy to you?
Hold up a piece of paper to prove that they are straight and parallel to each other.

The duck’s bill is the bunny’s ears. This was first used by a psychologist named Joseph Jastrow in the early 1900s.

Some people only see three angled lines, but if you look carefully you can actually see the letter E in the empty space.

This optical illusion was first created in 1861. Look at the two thick vertical lines.

Do they look straight or curved to you?

Hold a ruler up to the screen and you will see that they are indeed straight.

Do you see the native american wearing a headdress, or the inuit wearing a fluffy coat and entering an igloo?

Can you see both the young woman and the old woman in this classic optical illusion?

If you need some help, the eye of the old woman is the ear of the young woman. The old woman’s mouth is the young woman’s necklace.

Does this look like a spiral?

It’s actually a bunch of concentric circles. Use your mouse to trace one circle and you will see that you come back to where you started instead of spiraling into the center.
