How do i survive after elevator crash puzzle
A lift is on the ground floor. There are 4 people in the lift including me. When the lift reaches 1st floor, 1 person gets out 3 people get in. The lift goes up to the second floor, 2 people get out 6 people get in. It then goes up to the next floor up, no-one gets out but 12 people get in. Halfway up to the next floor up the lift cable snaps, it crashes to the floor. Everyone dies in the lift.
How did I survive?
You gets out of the lift before it crashes.your are one of those people whose goes out of the lift in 1st floor or second floor.
you jumped out of the lift in middle of the free-fall.
large number of people entered the lift, the lift started, the lift cable snapped—
now, during this free-fall, everything in the lift is weight-less, just like in space, you can float around and all…we have no time for this fun…start struggling to get to the ceiling of the lift and make sure that there are large number of people exactly below you…now hold the positions…note that the sudden halt of the lift will bring everything on the floor, pushing them against the floor with large instantaneous force and the rest that are above the floor will crush anything on the floor. you managed to get on the top,with other fellas below you, on reaching the ground you will not be crushed and also the people you will crush will act as a kind of shock-absorb further reducing the force you might have felt. hence you survive.(sounds selfish but will help, given you time everything correctly) .
