Situation Puzzle

Henry has been caught stealing cattle and is brought into town for justice. The judge is his ex-wife Gretchen, who wants to show him some sympathy, but the law calls for two shots to be taken at Henry from close range. To make things a little better for Henry, Gretchen tells him she will place two bullets into a six-chambered revolver in successive order. She will spin the chamber, close it, and take one shot. If Henry is still alive, she will then either take another shot, or spin the chamber again before shooting.

Henry is a bit incredulous that his ex-wife would carry out the punishment, and a bit sad that she was always such a rule follower. He steels himself as Gretchen loads the chambers, spins the revolver, and pulls the trigger. Whew! It was blank. Then Gretchen asks, ‘Do you want me to pull the trigger again, or should I spin the chamber a second time before pulling the trigger?’

What should Henry choose?

A person is found murdered in his Chamber. When the crime scene is investigated, the Investigator find out that there is a calendar on which the victim has written a few numbers with his blood. The numbers are 4, 11, 11 and 4.

There are four suspects in the murder, John, Jacob, Anna and Lee. Can you find out who is the murderer?

A detective visits his friend John just to discover that John’s neighbour Dr Jacob was murdered. Dr Jacob, who is a mathematician wrote the murderer’s name in a code word “Hcqtfz”. There were five suspects

The message was encrypted as below.

If he committed suicide, how did he do it?

A guy in his thirties is found dead in a forest. The shocking thing about the body is that he is wearing his swimming trunks snorkel and a facemask.

Who was the murderer?

A man is found hanging dead from the ceiling of a room. The room’s dimensions are 15 x 15 x 15. The man is only 6ft tall and the rope was only 2ft long. There are no windows and only one door to the room. The door is bolted shut from the inside, and a puddle of water is under the man. How did he kill himself?
