My grandson is about as many days as my son is weeks, and my grandson is as many months as I am in years. My grandson, my son and I together are 140 years.
Can you tell me my age in years?
m = my age in year
s = son in years
G = grandson in years
G + s + g = 140 years
substitute G for into each
G + 12G + 7G = 140
20G = 140
G = 140/20
G = 7 years
s = 49 years
m = 84 years
