The papers can be identified by the date written by them because the British and Americans write the date of the day in the different way so these papers can be segregated easily.

explanation :

the Americans write the date of the day and month and years as : month/day/year

the British write the day and month and year as :day/month/years

But their dates were same? How? Because the date was actually 12/12/2013 and for this the month and the day number were equal!! So the papers couldn’t be separated!!
