The number inside each triangle is formed as A x B – C^2 where A, B and C are the numbers at the corners of the triangle, C being the smallest of the three, as:
7 x 5 – 3^2 = 26
3 x 2 – 1^2 = 5
8 x 6 – 2^2 = 44
By the same logic:
9 x 5 – 4^2= 29
