A bank customer had $100 in his account. He then made 6 withdrawals. He kept a record of these withdrawals, and the balance remaining in the account, as follows:

Why are the Totals not tallying? 
There is no reason why the original amount should match the total amount of withdrawals!
It’s the other way round! The total original amount WILL match the total of all withdrawals if the entire amount in withdrawn as in this case. It’s the sum of balances that will not match.
