Climb the Top of the Pole

An ape is trying to climb on a pole that is 60 feet high. Due to the slippery surface, the ape climbs 3 feet in a minute only to slip back 2 feet.
How much time do you think the monkey will take to reach the top of the pole? 
Answer: 58 minutes. Because at the end of every minute it is 1 feet higher the before. so after 56 minutes we start from height 56, climb 3 to 59 and slip 2 down so at the beginning of 57 minute we start from 57 feet, it takes 1 minute to climb and reach the top from which it does not slip anymore
