  • 3 Answer(s)

    2 = 5        [2^2 + (2^0) ]

    3 = 12     [3^2 + (3^1 x 2^0)]

    4 = 28     [4^2 + (2^2 x 3^1)]

    5 = 133  [5^2  + (3^2 x 2^2)]

    For even number

    n = n^2 + (2^n-2 x 3^n-3)  for all n>2

    For odd number

    n = n^2 + (3^n-2 x 2^n-3)  for all n>1

    The moment you say 2 = 5, the ‘=’ sign has lost its meaning of “equality”. Hence, the law of equality can’t be applied here.
