Jacob forced John and James to play the game of death.
Jacob placed 11 marbles at the table and asked John and James to pick marble(s) one by one with the following rules:
1. You need to pick at least one marble.
2. You can’t pick more than five marbles.
The one that picks the last marble will die.
John to start the game.
How many marbles must John pick in order to make sure that he came out from the game alive? 
John must first pick 4 marbles, Then whatever number James pick, Johns next number should be able to add with whatever James picked to get a sum of 6. Then James is forced to take the last marble.
