Logic: A [+] B = A x (A + B – 1) where [+] stands for the ‘+’ symbol in the patterns given in the question.
2 [+] 3 = 2 x (2 + 3 – 1) = 2 x 4 = 8
5 [+] 8 = 5 x (5 + 8 – 1) = 5 x 12 = 60
4 [+] 5 = 4 x (4 + 5 – 1) = 4 x 8 = 32 and so on.
