Many years ago, befor modern educashun in the new millenium, one problem in skools was baseic speeling and grammer.
To conbat this and rays acheivement, teechers were adviced to start at the very begining, at the yungest age.
Once they had managed to breath new life into leessons, progres came quickly – sucess was then garanteed.
How many speeling errors would modern skolars identify in this passage?
—————————- —————————- —————————-
The words shown in bold are ‘straight-forward’ spelling mistakes whereas TWO words that are shown in bold italics are correctly spelled words used wrongly. “rays” instead of “raise” and “breath” instead of “breathe“.
Total count: 21, out of which one (shown in bold with underline) is a repeat. Net count = 20.

Assumption: The dispatch centre does NOT prepare labels in excess of packages, neither do they leave any package unlabeled. (i.e., if there are ‘P’ packages and ‘L’ labels, P =L.)
The probability of the scenario specified in the puzzle happening is ZERO.
Explanation: Since there were only FIVE Packages left to be labelled, if John managed to label FOUR of them correctly, it means that the fifth package was also labelled correctly, because there are no excess labels prepared so that the fifth package could get mislabeled. Thus, the result will be that ALL FIVE packages are correctly labelled. Hence, it is impossible to have “exactly four of the five packages” labelled correctly.

An “unlimited” supply of anything is a tricky prospect when it comes to puzzles. You can have ‘unlimited’ possibilities…
Coming to the question at hand, I will use the rope to make a huge pile on the floor such that the ‘rope cone’ eventually reaches close the top of the pillar. (Since I have “unlimited” supply of rope. it won’t be difficult!) Now I can simply jump on to the top of the heap and then climb down. Once I am on the ground, I can take the rope closer to the other pillar and start winding it around the pillar so that the rope-winding forms a sort of ‘ladder’ which I can climb little by little till I reach the top.
So here I’m, on my target, without even using my other ‘tools’, namely, the twig and the rock…! Hail the “unlimited supply”…!! 🙂

505, FOUR Times…!
Once you add 5 to 500, it becomes 505. Thereafter, anything you add, you will be adding to this 505 and NOT to 500. So, if you were to add 5 to 500 four times, you will have to add the 5 to a different ‘500’ every time, so you will be getting 505, four times.
