Domino’s claims they have a great deal on the large 12″ pizza, which is specially priced at $ 6.90.

Answer – The discount being offered comes to approx. 19%
Applying Mathematics only and not considering other factors such as additional time and energy required for manufacturing the larger piece AND assuming that both the 10″ and 12″ variants differ in diameter only, the 12″ one is 44% larger than the 10″ one, which means that it can be priced at 8.63$ (rounded off). By pricing it at 6.99, the discount being offered comes to approx. 19%.
Quantity-wise: I am getting 44% extra qty at 0.91$ which translates to 0.91 / 5.99 => 15.19% extra cost: Seems a good deal.
