Paul, Sam and Dean are assigned the task of figuring out two numbers. They get the following information:
Both numbers are integers between (including) 1 and 1000
Both numbers may also be identical.
Paul is told the product of the two numbers, Sam the sum and Dean the difference. After receiving their number, the following conversation takes place:
Paul: I do not know the two numbers.
Sam: You did not have to tell me that, I already knew that.
Paul: Then I now know the two numbers.
Sam: I also know them.
Dean: I do not know the two numbers. I can only guess one which may probably be correct but I am not sure.
Paul: I know which one you are assuming but it is incorrect.
Dean: Ok, I also know the two numbers.What are the two numbers?

Five puzzleFry ship’s pirates have obtained 100 gold coins and have to divide up the loot. The pirates are all extremely intelligent, treacherous and selfish (especially the captain).
The captain always proposes a distribution of the loot. All pirates vote on the proposal, and if half the crew or more go “Aye”, the loot is divided as proposed, as no pirate would be willing to take on the captain without superior force on their side.
If the captain fails to obtain support of at least half his crew (which includes himself), he faces a mutiny, and all pirates will turn against him and make him walk the plank. The pirates start over again with the next senior pirate as captain.

A devotee goes to three temples, temple1, temple2 and temple3 one after the other.
In front of each temple, there is a small pool. So while going to each temple
he takes some flowers with him and takes holy bath in a pool belongs to that temple.
If he takes a bath in one pool the flowers which he had earlier get doubled.One day the devotee goes to a temple1 with flowers and takes a bath in a pool and the
flowers get doubled. He keeps some flowers for god and move to temple2
along flowers he left with. Again takes a bath in a pool, flowers get doubled and keeps
the same number of flowers which he has kept in temple1. Again the same procedure continues in temple3 where he keeps the flowers which he has kept in temple1 and
temple2 and comes out with empty hands (no flowers left out).1. What are the initial number of flowers the devotee had?

A farmer is taking her eggs to the market in a cart, but she hits a pothole, which knocks over all the containers of eggs. Though she is unhurt, every egg is broken.
So she goes to her insurance agent, who asks her how many eggs she had. She says she doesn’t know, but she remembers something from various ways she tried packing the eggs.When she put the eggs in groups of two, three, four, five, and six there was one egg left over, but when she put them in groups of seven they ended up in complete groups with no eggs left over.
What can the farmer and agent figure out from this information about the number of eggs she had ?
Is there more than one answer ?
PS:- Though I know the answer but still I want the answer in the simplest understandable manner possible. Thanks for all answers in advance.
